The IRS is offering relief to any area designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Currently, this includes Eaton, Ingham, Ionia, Kent, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, and Wayne counties. It is the owner's responsibility to determine if they are eligible. The same relief will be available to any other Michigan localities added later to the disaster area.
